SEARCH® SMALL PARTICLE REAGENT (SPR)

Small particle reagent firmly attaches to the fatty constituents found in latent prints to form a residue. It is a quick, inexpensive and more effective on fresh fingerprints than older ones.
USE IT ON: All NON-POROUS surfaces such as exterior vehicle bodies, exterior gloss-painted surfaces,
glass, waxed and plastic-coated materials, polyethylene and expanded polystyrene.
NOT SUITABLE ON: Porous surfaces such as paper and cardboard.
SURFACE CONDITIONS: Wet or Dry.
NOT RECOMMENDED ON: Indoor or outdoor surfaces where property damage may occur. SPR is quite messy and requires cleaning with water to remove reagent residue prior to photography and lifting.
ADVANTAGES: Inexpensive, NON-TOXIC, quick and easy-to-use.
TYPES: No. SPR100 dark suspension for light-colored surfaces, No. SPR200 white suspension for dark-colored surfaces and No. SPR400UV fluorescent (longwave or shortwave, alternate light sources and BLUEMAXX™) fluorescent for multi-colored surfaces or light and dark-colored surfaces.

SEARCH® SMALL PARTICLE REAGENT (SPR) is supplied in three 500 ml containers. Each bottle is furnished with a No. SPR1002 dispenser spray head. Select No. SPR100 for light-colored surfaces, No. SPR200 for dark-colored surfaces or No. SPR400UV for multi-colored surfaces.
